WHERE? Trail Hub, Uxbridge ... in the Trail Capital of Canada!

There are two loops to choose from depending on your preference and ability: You can choose either the 5km loop or the 3.4km loop for those who prefer a slightly shorter distance.

Join us after the walk to relax and enjoy the unobstructed panoramic view of the Southern Ontario skyline. Capture one of the breathtaking views from the highest peak in the region. What better place to celebrate your achievement! Food and beverages available for purchase after the walk.

Want to walk less? That's okay! Want to walk more? Great! Maybe you would like to walk shorter distances but add your daily activity together to reach your total goal. That's okay too! You can also run or ride your bicycle. It's up to you!

Registration Fee $45.00 per adult $20.00 per child (age 12 and under) Any minor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Every registered participant will receive a 2024 Tyvek runner's bib and thank you gift! PLUS ... Every registered participant will receive a $25.00 charity tax receipt!

Each child participant will also receive a coupon for FREE food or ice-cream cone courtesy of McDonald's, Uxbridge. Child registrations must be completed by accompanying registered adult.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars. All major credit cards accepted. Runner's packages will be available for pick up in Uxbridge as of April 26th. Shipping options are available for both Canada & the United States.

It is estimated that about 1 in 8 women in North America will develop breast cancer during their lifetime and 1 in 33 will die from it. In Europe, those numbers are even higher. Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women around the world.

Many single mothers. Many young women. Many already struggling financially, but now they can’t work (likely for about a year); they might be getting support from the government, but it’s barely enough to cover their basic needs. Now, they have medication to buy, they are driving distances to appointments; so, they need gas money. Hospital parking is never free. The unexpected costs are overwhelming. YOU CAN HELP!

The Kelly Shires Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals recently diagnosed with breast cancer. There are many unforeseen expenses resulting from a breast cancer diagnosis that are not covered by standard health insurance or benefits programs. These expenses include prosthetics, certain medications and supplements, loss of income due to treatment, travel expenses, food and so on.

OUR MISSION is to assist individuals dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis in order to provide tangible, timely and meaningful financial support, allowing them to better focus on their battle with breast cancer.
