It is estimated that about 1 in 8 women in North America will develop breast cancer during their lifetime and 1 in 33 will die from it. In Europe, those numbers are even higher. Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women around the world.
And it's not just women! In 2020 in Canada alone, 240 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer as well. 55 of those men will die from breast cancer.

The Kelly Shires Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
